Laminate Flooring is a cheaper alternative to Solid or Engineered Wood Flooring. Again it is available in various lengths,
widths and designs and is generally 7-10 mm thick which consists of a high density fibreboard core with a hard wearing wood/tile
effect top layer. The fitting method is to "float" over an underlay, therefore not attaching it to the subfloor.
